I sure hope someone comes and answers this question...Ive been debating this for couple years now...please someone post your pros and cons (hopefully you've had them)

	0 Deafness is blessing. opens world to really see others. Cochlear implants are good want to hear world. Only sound worth hearing children and family voices. implants however don't fix processing issues (like I have) so hearing poorly is not as good as deaf and knowing signs real. hearing real music is nice. hearing own voice can startle you
